Rocheport restaurant worker performs act of kindness on the Katy Trail
Max Crowley stands Wednesday at the spot where he found cyclist Glenn Kaine’s GPS tracker at the Katy Trail’s McBaine trailhead in Columbia. Crowley, who works at the nearby Meriwether Café and Bike Shop, went out to find the tracker after seeing Kaine had messaged the restaurant with the GPS’ coordinates.
Max Crowley works as a kitchen manager at Meriwether Café & Bike Shop in Rocheport, but it was on one of his days off this summer that he got bored and decided to check for messages on the restaurant’s email account.
“I was just scrolling through my phone and read an email from earlier that morning,” said Crowley, a Columbia resident.
